One of the reasons I like reading these kind of entries is to hear how there were some people who lucked out. During my time in both New Orleans and at the Sabine County Hospital, we really didn't meet anyone who "lucked out". The vast majority of our contact was with the sick, hurt, and elderly who were stuck either without homes or missing loved ones. It's nice to know it all worked out for someone afterall.
